2. What is ISPM 15? Does my export shipment require fumigation?

With the implementation of ISPM 15 by various countries, wood packaging materials destined to these countries are required to be treated with heat or fumigated, to prevent the introduction of wood pest into their country. Please refer to the list of countries that implementated ISPM 15.

3. What is C-TPAT?

Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a US Customs initiatives designed to enhance the Supply Chain Security so as to ensure the integrity of cargoes shipped to the US port. Participation in the C-TPAT initiatives requires the company to assess, evolves and communicates new practices that ensure tighter security or cargo enhanced security throughout the supply chain. In return, the goods from participating company will receive expedited processing in the United States.
